Safe Cycling Thunder Bay

Cycling courses for all ages and abilities!

Is a car in the bike lane?

Car parked in the bike lane got you down? Here's what to do. If you get to Step 3, those persistent cars must really be a pest, so we made you a template letter to send to your councillor.

1) If it's Monday-Friday between 8:30 and 4:30, phone the Thunder Bay Parking Authority at 625-2370.

2) If it's outside of business hours, contact the Thunder Bay Police Service's non-emergency line at 684-1200 or by using this form https://www.thunderbaypolice.ca/contact

3) If you follow step 1 or 2 and the problem persists, write to your city councillor. To make it really easy, we made you a template letter: http://bit.ly/1vsRms9. You can find city council's contact information at http://www.thunderbay.ca/City_Government/Your_Council.htm.
